After visiting Festival of Speed at Goodwood for the last couple of years I figured i would get a collection of my photographers together for a blog post.
If you hadn’t heard of Festival of Speed, basically it is a 4 day event at Lord March’s Goodwood estate, and manufacturers, teams, and competitors from throughout history are invited along to compete in the hill climb event and show off their new products. It is the best car event I have ever been to, there is so much to watch, theres the hill climb itself, a rally event, and all the manufacturer stands, not to mention the paddock where all the competing cars and bikes await the competition.
Personally for me, my favourite part of the show is seeing the 1960/70’s Formula 1 and CanAM cars going up the hill climb, most of them are running v8’s and the sounds are incredible, not to mention how intricate and raw they look. modern cars simply don’t have the presence that these machines do…
